Working with the world’s largest builder of commercial drive-in movie theaters, we determined all of the parameters needed to deliver an optimal audience experience. We then developed a proprietary frame design with two positions for the screen: high (for drive-ins) and low (for regular movies in the park). Now, we can finally offer screens which always place the image at the ideal height regardless of your setup.
Why Buy Screens?
Almost all outdoor movie screens are designed for audiences seated on blankets or lawn chairs. They’re great for movies in the park, but not for drive-ins: the image is so low to the ground that vehicles parked up front obstruct the view for those in the back. Bottom line: adding an FM transmitter may let them hear movie audio in their cars, but your audience isn’t going to be happy if they don’t have a clear view of the screen.
The Solution!
With our “convertible” screens, you can easily adjust the image height so that those in the back have no problem seeing over those parked closer to the screen. For movies in the park, you can then lower image height in a matter of minutes: viewers seated on blankets or lawn chairs won’t have to crane their necks because the image is so high above ground level. At the drive-in or in the park, everybody’s happy!
